No Ads on the Mahjong Solitaire Website — Here's the Policy
Mahjong Solitaire — the website at mahjonggsolitaire.app — shows no advertisements, as of October 2026. That's the policy for the site.
No ads on the site right now
You can play the full Daily board rotation and the first ten levels of the Journey on mahjonggsolitaire.app without ever seeing a banner, an interstitial, or a 'watch this to continue' screen. There's no ad-supported tier on the site and no paid tier to "remove ads" from, because on the website there's nothing to remove.
This policy covers the website only. The iPhone app, Friends at Mahjong Solitaire, is a separate product with its own App Store listing, and this page doesn't speak to its ad settings.
We also don't sell anything you need in order to finish a board on the site — no paid hints, no paid shuffles, no paid undos, no lives, no timers, no energy bars. Hint, Undo, and Rescue are available to every player from the free tier, described in full on our how-to-play guide.
What you're actually paying for
A purchase in Mahjong Solitaire is a one-time unlock for the remaining Journey levels beyond the first ten — a single payment made once, not a subscription, not a recurring charge. See mahjonggsolitaire.app for the current price.
A "Mahjong collections" purchase — hand-painted tile sets, tables, racks, and rooms — is coming soon as a separate one-time option. It isn't live yet, so there's nothing to buy there today. In the meantime, several painted sets are already earnable through play, with more arriving over time.
Why this matters
If you've bounced off other tile-matching or solitaire experiences because of ad breaks, timers nudging you toward a purchase, or energy systems that lock you out until you pay or wait — the mahjonggsolitaire.app website doesn't use any of those mechanics. You play a board, you clear it or you don't, and you move on. Every deal is checked before it reaches you, so a board can't become unsolvable from a bad shuffle.
Play today's board or start the Journey at mahjonggsolitaire.app — no download, no registration, no ads.
