Daily Mahjong Solitaire: One Board a Day, No Streaks to Lose

· By Friends at Mahjong

Daily Mahjong Solitaire gives every player the same board each day, generated from the date itself — and missing a day costs you nothing.

Daily Mahjong Solitaire

Each day, mahjonggsolitaire.app puts up one new board. It's generated from the date, so everyone playing that day sees the identical deal — it's the same deterministic board for everyone, everyone plays the exact same layout that day.

What happens if you miss a day

Nothing. There's no streak counter to protect, no penalty for a missed day, and nothing resets. The Daily board is built for people who want a relaxing session when they have one — not another habit-tracking mechanic demanding daily check-ins to avoid losing progress.

The real tile set, the same fairness as every other board

You're matching pairs of free tiles (tiles with nothing covering them and at least one open side) from the real 144-tile American Mahjong set: Bams, Craks, Dots one through nine, Winds, Dragons, and Flowers — the classic game, not a match-three variant. And like every board on the site, each Daily deal is checked for solvability before it reaches you, like every board on the site.

Why play it over just replaying the Journey

The Journey mode is about working through a set of levels — the first ten are free, and the rest unlock with a one-time purchase (see mahjonggsolitaire.app for the current price). The Daily board is a different kind of session: it's finite and shared. If you want to compare notes, you can privately share a board with a friend or play the same deal at the same time and talk about it afterward — there's no public chat, just an invite-only way to play together.

No pressure, no download

The Daily board, like the rest of the site, is full-screen in your browser with no download and no registration required to start. Open mahjonggsolitaire.app, pull up today's board, and see how it goes — there's always another one tomorrow, whether or not you finish this one.
